I haven’t done a listy type blog post in a while so I thought I would share my it’s-a-bad-day-watch-films most watched films. They are undeniably chick flicks or comedy or musicals. I’m betting a good percentage of you might not read any further now that I’ve said that.
Mamma Mia 1 & 2 – Who doesn’t love an ABBA singalong? I love to pretend one day I will go on an adventure to Greece and it’s a great way to escape.
Up – It’s a classic that is so heartwarming you feel happier and more wholesome just for watching.
The Blind Side– I have to admit I don’t watch it too often but I had to include it. It’s based on a true story and is a good watch.
Grease – Ask my Sister about this one. I got the DVD for my birthday when I was about 7 and I watched it on loop and drove her batty with my inability to watch anything else. It’s a classic and I love it.
The Proposal – This is pure genius and it’s so funny. Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds just make an epic film together about a proposal.
Moana – I can’t help but feel better for watching Disney films, I find them easy to follow and this one is a great feel-good film.
You’ve Got Mail– I love a good Meg Ryan film! This is one of my favourites with Tom Hanks – (Sleepless in Seatle is incredible too) It’s a classic but I love it.
Despicable Me 1, 2, 3– I love Minions and find myself saying “bananaaaa” quite often. Heartwarming animation at its finest.
Pitch Perfect – I always laugh at this movie and it’s something most of the family can and will tolerate. Fat Amy is fabulous and I watch these over and over again.
Along Came Polly– If you love slightly cringey comedies then this one is for you. With Jennifer Aniston Ben Stiller and Debra Messing, it’s a classic that I don’t feel is very widespread.
So those are my top picks for films that make me happy. Comment down below and tell me your favourite films and leave me recommendations of things to watch!
